# Using KOI with Futureboard QuickStart

Robotbit EDU is recommended for using KOI with Futureboard.

### Hardware Wiring

Connect KOI to the serial port on the Robotbit(P2, P12).

From Hardware, select Futureboard.

### KOI Blocks

In stage mode, the blocks for KOI are greyed out because they are incompatible with stage mode.

Switch to Python mode.

### Programming the KOI

Initiate the KOI first.
